Barefoot & Entrepreneurial in New Hampshire!

When I'm not in the garden, I make
homemade sourdough bread
which is reportedly awesome.

For the last three years, I've been wanting to post the adventures of living - and making a living - in this economy. The blog is about stress, financial freedom, and self reliance - mostly.

I'm a farm girl from Idaho who practiced law in the big city, bounced around for a while (5 moves in 4 years), and finally settled down on a hilltop in New Hampshire. Now I'm looking for something to do while we adjust to retirement.

Mainly, I've been making my own bread and living off the local economy. Farm to table has a whole new meaning when the farm is your front yard (or your neighbor's chicken coop) and the table is your family's. I think you can do this, too.

So, this isn't a mommy blog, a grandma blog, or anything like you've ever seen before.

It's about entrepreneurial women who want to make a living where they live.
